Ronald L. Moten, Cofounder/COO Peaceoholics

As the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Peaceoholics, Mr. Moten is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and is a member of the Board of Directors. He specializes in strategically engaging youth to better understand the importance of education, peace, and economic empowerment with the goal of transforming at-risk youths into productive citizens in the Washington DC area. Mr. Moten also serves as an advocate for under-privileged youth in the community. His professional exposure crosses both the Entertainment and Social Services sector. Mr. Moten has over 10 years of dedicated experience and on-the-job training working for community-based organizations, non-profits and government agencies. He was the CEO and founder of a local entertainment company that conducted various collaborated efforts with community organization, educational institutions and government agencies to promote health conscious and violence free individuals. Peaceoholics is a non-profit organization that is committed to the youth and families of the District of Colombia. Through the various activities of Peaceoholics, youth will be transformed into drug-free and crime-free productive members of their communities.Activites include:

• designing and operating youth programs;
• developing a network of peace-minded individuals;
• participating in youth events sponsored by schools;
• working with government agencies and non-profit organizations;
• providing vocational training and workshops; and
