Officer Edwin Jacob Talks About Identifying Gangs

Officer Jacob has been a Montgomery County Police Officer since 1979 and is currently assigned to the Community Services Division. Officer Jacob has been trained in basic Crime Prevention, and mediation techniques. He serves as a Police Recruit boxing instructor. Officer Jacob participates in diversity training at the Police Academy. Officer Jacob serves as a departmental liasion to citizens/community groups, law enforcement, and students. Officer Jacob participates in numerous community events, health fairs, and public forums. He serves on the Central Speakers Bureau and is responsible for giving presentations in various topics to community groups, students, and teachers as well outreach mediation. He is also involved in several after-school programs.
